I like the idea, except 2 words the SEC will not be keen on. SHOW CAUSE! In the past, the Conference has frowned on hiring people with those two words associated with their name! I realize Florida’s coach has those words, it he is already employed! For a little while , anyway!

I keep hearing if Pruitt is let go, Freeze is in the mix. But, it is a little too late for hiring at this point isn't it? Plus the optics of hiring someone like Freeze whom has a past isn't going to look good. I have heard Freeze say he has not intentions of leaving Liberty, but coaching in the SEC and money talks.

At the end of the day it is not about optics for the University, it is about wins.

As I said in the coaching carousel, hoping for a ncaa investigation so you can fire your coach “for cause” so you can bring in a coach with a recent NCAA sanctions history is not only laughable but absolutely insane.

Lot of speculation that not only is this investigation around the recruit of Mims (signed with Georgia this year) but also the recruitment/eligibility of Eric Gray, their sophomore running back.

Honestly, if these issues have merit, I don’t know if want Jeremy back with the program.

Yeah..that is a good question. If he went there...with sanction possibilities? Depending on how severe of course. And heck...last time after Kiffin left..they had an investigation with robberies and other things..but got like 2 years probation or something? Anyway..this may or may not add up to something. But his hiring may depend on how that shakes out. He may decide not to leave Liberty for all I know...but I am betting he will.

Sankey ....in a covid free world..would put 104,000 fans in Neyland or whatever that stadium holds. Every single game with Freeze in that job. I dont think he has a problem with anything where money is there.i dont care honestly. No vol fan for sure.
