Im not surprised. You’re talking about a program that has lost 14 straight to us.TN boards are all a flutter about the "big" names who might take the job. Although, several are mentioning Gus as a possiblility!

I like the idea, except 2 words the SEC will not be keen on. SHOW CAUSE! In the past, the Conference has frowned on hiring people with those two words associated with their name! I realize Florida’s coach has those words, it he is already employed! For a little while , anyway!Pruitt replace Golding next year? Any chance?
Yea, they still think their a powerhose everyone lining up for the jobIm not surprised. You’re talking about a program that has lost 14 straight to us.
Oh so true Bama 22, some people here in west tn want to win at all cost they would hire the devil himself if it guaranteed wins!I keep hearing if Pruitt is let go, Freeze is in the mix. But, it is a little too late for hiring at this point isn't it? Plus the optics of hiring someone like Freeze whom has a past isn't going to look good. But at the end of the day it is not about optics for the University, it is about wins.
I think Phil should get life in front of a firing squad. Wait ...If Phil would have just worried about coaching his team rather than destroying our team.....they’d still be awful but a lot of Tide fans might be a bit empathetic.
He built the gallows, let him rot on them.
And he should have known better than to get involved with Phatimus! Can't say I feel bad for Pruitt..He became an enemy once he became a vile..
Greg Sankey might have a problem with it. Not sure if he could have direct influence but I’m sure he would offer his opinion free of charge. How can you bring Freeze into a program facing NCAA sanctions? That would literally be flipping the NCAA the bird. Not that I have a problem with that, but I just don't see it happening.
As I said in the coaching carousel, hoping for a ncaa investigation so you can fire your coach “for cause” so you can bring in a coach with a recent NCAA sanctions history is not only laughable but absolutely insane. How can you bring Freeze into a program facing NCAA sanctions? That would literally be flipping the NCAA the bird. Not that I have a problem with that, but I just don't see it happening.
Yeah..that is a good question. If he went there...with sanction possibilities? Depending on how severe of course. And heck...last time after Kiffin left..they had an investigation with robberies and other things..but got like 2 years probation or something? Anyway..this may or may not add up to something. But his hiring may depend on how that shakes out. He may decide not to leave Liberty for all I know...but I am betting he will. How can you bring Freeze into a program facing NCAA sanctions? Nah, tie him to a chair at a table of fresh, hot donuts, but keep them just out of his reach....I think Phil should get life in front of a firing squad. Wait ...

Sankey ....in a covid free world..would put 104,000 fans in Neyland or whatever that stadium holds. Every single game with Freeze in that job. I dont think he has a problem with anything where money is there.i dont care honestly. No vol fan for sure.Greg Sankey might have a problem with it.
