As I said in the coaching carousel, hoping for a ncaa investigation so you can fire your coach “for cause” so you can bring in a coach with a recent NCAA sanctions history is not only laughable but absolutely insane.

Lot of speculation that not only is this investigation around the recruit of Mims (signed with Georgia this year) but also the recruitment/eligibility of Eric Gray, their sophomore running back.

Honestly, if these issues have merit, I don’t know if want Jeremy back with the program.
Yeah, it wouldn’t be a good look and bring unwanted attention........of course if I am Pruitt and I knew of any involvement by Fulmer, once that show cause came down I’d start spilling the beans

if it was a setup I’d tell everything I knew

This is fat Phil trying to get out of Jeremy's buyout. He will use the NCAA again to screw him it of his buyout money. I have always felt that this was a bad decision on Pruitt's part to go to 10rc. Phil has proven time and again that he is a snake and his only loyalty is too himself. I hope that Jeremy Pruitt is successful, but 10rc is a rathole until the fat one is put out to pasture for good.
If that is the case and Pruitt knows anything (we know this goes way above the HC), he will sing like a canary to the NCAA and Phats can enjoy the aftermath...

This thing has legs apparently. I dont know what actually has been done or not done. But I know a lot of what Fulmer HAS done in the past. Much of it didnt matter if it was true or not. He did those things to harm Bama's past..present..and future. The 'future' at that time was already on life support with internal strife. Let alone Fulmer/Kramer/Dickey behind the scenes shameful actions. Maybe it will be revealed soon of this is about Fulmer...or BY Fulmer. Either way...I am no fan of Fulmer..nor anyone who speaks highly of the 'man'. I will be here to remind UTk fans who rejoiced his return to power if it turns out as ANY Bama fan knew it would. Dont be surprised if Bama's program gets a look here from investigators as long as Fulmer is mentioned. He would do that even if he had to create a scenario. IF....he himself is in control of that fiasco..then I expect that to happen. But all this depends on the mission of the case. No one on this board should doubt what the REAL 'Coach Fulmer' is all about. His mission was once to be able to guarantee recruits that "Alabama is going to be Out of Business". Different times..but same man. Is this about firing Pruitt? Or is it about Boosters getting caught?

I haven't followed this all that close, but does anyone think Jeremy might be clean, and is being set up by Fulmer to help clear the books?
Sounds ridiculous I know. Insane as someone else said. Laughable. But there is a man involved here..who once turned Bama in to the ncaa because a Baptist church in my hometown gave Shaun Alexander an offering for speaking at a service. He did this...EVEN though HE had players on HIS team who visited churches here and there in Tenn. Fact. It was in local papers. Will Bartholomew for one. And KUDOS to that young man. A FINE player and a fine American kid out helping the world. But....Shaun Alexander was "cheating" for doing the SAME. Because.....Fulmer was going to do what he was paid to do. So to me?? Ridiculous may be depending on one's age or memory of what DID happen.

I do have to admit that I find it hilarious that a thread about Tennessee will have almost as many responses as a thread about whether Mac Jones has a chance to come back for next year.

I do believe that if there was an article about Fulmer cheezing his pants it might get 500 replies.
