THIS was the best season in Alabama football history!!!

I believe this team is better than the 92 team, all around, but the season's were both as exciting. I predicted around the third game that I believed this was the year not next. The similarities to the 92 team were eerie at that point. It was like there was a clone at every position, except our two, now one, linebackers were the bookends.

Then you could do the same for the defense.

All in all, the 92 defense and the 2009 offense were superior.

The one thing that I despise in today's culture is hype and smother. Let this team and season be naturally judged as the years progress instead of making them Gods now.

I am just happy that the monkey is off of CNS's back, and ours. We can win some SEC Championships and hopefuly play for a few more NC's in the next 7 or 8 season's. He's not going anywhere. Let's watch Carroll crash and burn.

This begs the question. After this euphoric feeling how will we as Bama Fans react if in the next ?? yrs under Saban we never duplicate this season? What would satisfy your thirst in the future? SEC Championships, winning 12 games per year, Beating the Barn and the Vols each yr., or will you not be satisfied unless we win it all each year?

Good question. Here is my answer with a question.

Would it crack more hearts if we had lost the BCS NC game this year, or the next two years with one under the belt?

My answer is: I won't be hiding in the closet during plays for any reason the next few seasons. There was an enormous amount of pressure released Thursday night.....that has probably not sunk in yet.

Do you think CNS will be satisfied unless we win it all? Do you think he was satisfied last year?

Coach Saban doesn't worry about the expectations of the Alabama fan base, simply because his own expectations are so high.

And as long as he has that attitude, we can relax and enjoy the fruits of his labors.

Remember this, Coach Saban does not measure champions based soley on wins. He declared this to be a team of champions BEFORE the BCSCG was played.

The hard work, dedication and will to win made these young men into champions, not the victory over Texas. Their lives will be forever changed for having learned under Saban...

WOW, is all I gotta say with all this, and Saban himself would put you in your place after saying what ya did..............

I love this years Bama team, but to start bashing past Bama teams, is just wrong. I can't beleive I read some Bama fan trying to knock " The Bear " legacy at Bama. Start asking for forgivness, and Bama nation might let you off for being chaught up in the moment.
That's even iffy after those words.......
