Throw back uniforms

I noticed a lot of teams are using throw back uniforms. I think we should do that each week for each NC. We could wear a different uni each week and not repeat a week.

I agree. I think besides the white helmets there isn't much else we can do.

Numbers on the sleeves, white helmets, and names off the jerseys... other than that we'd be pretty much done. Unless, of course, we wanted to REALLY throw it back and wear some of the jerseys from the 20's and 30's. Those would look very strange on players in pads and helmets, though.

When was the last year we wore the white helmets? Wasn't it '84?

We could actually do an early 70's thing where we wear a red helmet with slightly larger numerals than today. Perhaps add in some of those face masks from the era as well. Always liked the kind Musso and Bisceglia wore.

Without wearing white helmets I doubt anyone in the country would know the difference.

Why don't we throwback to the wishbone for a game while we are at it? It can't hurt much. Tear away jerseys flying everywhere...Coach Saban can where a suit and a houndstooth hat.
