These weren't necessarily plays that decided the games, but Ty Simpson went through a 3-game stretch of explicit late hits and no calls whatsoever. I just wish I knew the reasoning.

I remember a few plays where we had a false start and the refs blew the whistle but Ty got obliterated anyway. No flags thrown.

Since Ole Miss lost by a FG, I can’t help but think if they had a full time offensive staff , game planning for UM, that they win that game. I know the offense played OK, but if they scored earlier and moved the ball better, it would have put pressure on Beck and company. Maybe forcing mistakes.

The ACC doesn’t split this money, Miami gets all $20 million, plus travel expenses. The national championship game is in Miami. That’s another $3 million.

If their PK doesnt doink the fg, then OM is down by 1 and then they drive 40 yds in 15s they would have had another fg attempt to win the game rather than the long pass to the end zone.

Yeah, but that was a 52 yard FG, he had plenty of leg, but 52 yards in CFB can go either way. I just think if they had full time coaches, they would win handily. I know coaches split time between prep and recruiting this time of year. But , splitting time between 2 teams , RB and WR coaches not available, just the OC game planning was an uphill battle.
Pete did a really good job with the team in the playoffs.
