They have heard all week about how good the other teams defense is and how dominant their front 5 are. Yes they have been but it is time for our young D lineman and RD to play with a fire in their belly. It is time for the LB’s to come down hill and take Boobie on and whoever it is running the football. It is time for our secondary to play like they are capable of playing and shut down what I think is the weakest position on their team. Everyone is pointing to Mac but it is time to get back to what we did and need to do today to win, MTAQ!!!

At this stage of the season those youngsters who have been forced into action are no longer freshman. They are basically sophomores. I to expect to see some progress with their play today. It's game 12 of the regular season. Those previous 11 games and the experience in them should begin to show.

I agree. Not really on Mac to win this game. Our defense should be able to exert their will and set the table for Mac and the offense. This game belongs to the defense and the offensive line.

If the D doesn't play well, especially in the first half, Bama is in trouble. I expect Bama to struggle early on offense due to crowd and very good Auburn D, so need our D to play very well today.

Defense 100% has to have a good game against a frankly mediocre offense. They're gonna pull out the stops and that means a lot of eye candy that young players can fall for...but we can't give them those cheap scores today.

I agree...make it easier on our offense to get comfortable.

One thing especially: Defense, please don't give up a TD on a blown coverage!!!

I can't say for certain, but it seems like we've done this just about every game this year. Today is not a day to put our offense in a -7 hole!

This is what concerns me the most when they have the ball. If it turns our ILBs inside out from trying to decide where the ball is and where it`s going....long afternoon.

Yes, there's been a lot of play-overrunning earlier this year. If Barmore can play under control, he could be the difference-maker Q was...

My #1 worry is Bo Nix's scrambling ability. He is REALLY fast and shifty.

He can easily extend drives with his legs.

If Golding doesn't strategically SPY Nix in this game I'm going to come unglued in the house.

I'll keep my thoughts to myself and not post them here but I'll be HOT.

I heard a talking head on the radio this morning say that Barmore wasn't 100% and DJ Dale didn't even make the trip to the pasture.
Heard any update on the defensive injuries?

I think that's the key to stopping their offense today.

I usually don't post too much in game threads, but I have already decided to stay out of the game thread today. I am very nervous and don't feel that great about the game as it gets closer. I still think we win, barely, but I really wish this game was in T'Town.

I have not heard updates yet, but I do hope Tua is able to be at the game. It will help the team mentally I think.

Yes, spying him is a MUST.

All I heard is Dale didn't practice all week, and our radio guys said unlikely we will see him.

Yeah................if he didn't make the trip, it will be unlikely!
