Tonight on fox 6 ( around 9:30 ). Rick Karle does the interview with Gene from his Texas ranch. They aired some of the video earlier and it was very touching. Hope every one can see this, for those that can't, we'll try and youtube it later. In one part of the interview Gene says that John Mark was 46 years old and didn't know one bad word.:p_sad:

I live in east TN, i assume that 9:30 is central. Is that fox station or fox sports? Thanks!

I always love Coach Stallings' quote when he found out John Mark was born with Down's Syndrome: "I asked God to change Johnny, but instead God changed me."
What a great man and father. We will always remember one of Alabama's greatest fans, John Mark Stallings.

The story of Gene and John Mark Stallings is one of the best "background" stories in football. We all knew how it would end, but it's still a touching story.

I think someday when John Mark sees his dad again he'll greet him at the gates of heaven with one more very well-deserved "Good job, pop."
