Can anyone confirm if Juan Garnier, the defensive tackle which transferred from Ohio State, is eligible this year? A 300 pound plugger is just what we need! Thanks.

Hey FPBama! You going to be at the game tommorow night? I know I will be.Being from Sylvania I cant wait to see Ft. Payne roll.:biggrin2:
Has to sit a year.
i thought garnier was a walk on so he didnt have to?
That is a good point. A walk on does not have to obtain a release. I may just be grasping at straws.
I am the public address announcer, so if I make a mistake, you can let me know! Wildcats by 40![]()
Sweet! Did you do the Ft Payne - Boaz game last season?
No, this is my debut...just a rookie.
I have a Buckeye friend who tells me he was granted an additional year of eligibility by the NCAA. Not sure why however. All in all, I believe it's for the best. If Bama can sway players from OSU, then we've got a good thing going for us in T-Town. I won't read to deep into it though. One step at a time.

Actually, he was granted two years by the NCAA - he's coming in as a soph (a 5 year soph)...I have a Buckeye friend who tells me he was granted an additional year of eligibility by the NCAA. Yah, my best guess is they awarded him that while he was still at OSU - if they had known he was coming to Bama they probably wouldn't have lifted a finger...I wasn't aware that it was 2 years. That's unheard of, or a very rare case at that.
