I'm just at a loss. I figured they would regress under Eaux, but for it to happen this rapidly makes no sense at all. Their lines got absolutely dominated.

LSU will now base everything on their game against us even more than they normally do. They wanted Jimbo or Herman and ended up with O such a mistake.

I don't want to pile on Coach O but man, what a disastrous hire by LSU. Les Miles couldn't beat Bama and had an archaic offense but man, his teams were good. Coach O was a horrendous HC at previous stops and has been an absolute disaster so far for the Tigers. It's honestly hard to imagine him surviving the season.

I don't want to pile on Coach O but man, what a disastrous hire by LSU. Les Miles couldn't beat Bama and had an archaic offense but man, his teams were good. Coach O was a horrendous HC at previous stops and has been an absolute disaster so far for the Tigers. It's honestly hard to imagine him surviving the season.

He was a decent interim coach at USC and LSU. He was 11-4.

Interim coaches don't install their systems. He was 10-25 at Ole Miss, 3-21 in the SEC. They fired Miles, who won at least 8 games every year at LSU, and hired a coach who never won more than 4 as a head coach.

It was a stupid hire. Can't wait to lay 60 on them!

The really funny thing is that 11-4 interim record is what got him the job. They felt he had learned how to be a better HC. Spoiler alert, he hasn't.
