And don't forget the poor McCain being shown flying coach and being way behind. That "sob" story pushed him back into the limelight.Anyone who trusts a network who has shown no restraint in doctoring a tape of George Zimmerman and blowing up a GM truck to demonstrate something that wasn't true - well, what else is there to say?
As far as the primaries - they're a joke. The PRESS tells us how to interpret the results and which states are important.
In 1984 there was a Super Tuesday where Gary Hart won 3 of 5 primaries, including Florida - the press treated it as though Mondale had succeeded. Hart later won EIGHT of the last ten primaries, several by landslides......and the press treated it as Mondale winning.
In 1992, there was one day where Tsongas won FOUR of six primaries across the nation, proving himself a NATIONAL candidate. Clinton won one (Georgia) and I believe Jerry Brown upset Tsongas in the other (Colorado I think). The press spun it as Clinton was the candidate on the move.
In 1996, Pat Buchanan won New Hampshire after nearly winning Iowa......and the press informed us Dole had it in the bag.
In 2000, they created a nonexistent race between Bush and McCain. McCain was never a threat to win the nomination even though he won NH by something like 20 points.
In 2004, it was the PRESS that destroyed Howard Dean. I'm sorry, but there was no difference whatsoever in Dean's screaming in a bad Chris Farley impression and Al Gore as a faux Southern preacher in a black church (particularly when Gore was claiming his Dad, who voted AGAINST the Civil Rights Act had lost his career because he voted FOR it).
I sat there the night of February 5, 2008 figuring Obama, who won 14 primaries, was toast. And I think if the press had not liked him, he would have been. The REAL story was "Obama has taken the lead and beaten Clinton" - but that's one of the few times they got it right.
Trump is a joke.
Illegal Immigration (to me) is the result of the problem, not the cause. If you eliminate welfare fraud -- and make people work for their "free money" -- everything changes..... i don't blame those who want to come here to make a better life....in fact I'm all for it. The problem now though, is that people who want to do harm to the country are coming across now.....with the others.....Without immigration, legal and illegal, we would be in the same straitjacket that Japan and Germany are in - shrinking, aging workforce and many unwilling to do the jobs the illegals/legals do. Just something to think about, other than rhetoric. This is a nation of immigrants - almost all of us. Shut it off entirely (or choke it down to the level of most politicians' favorite stump speeches), and IMO, we strangle. Flames invited...![]()

One could likewise argue that legalized abortion contributed to the problem as well. I'm just saying.Illegal Immigration (to me) is the result of the problem, not the cause. My paranoia may be insanely high -- but the whole "Red Dawn" concept still seems more possible than ever......
Nothing you've said changes the actual demographics one iota. The Japanese are among the most xenophobic on Earth. Just look where it's gotten them. With a low resident birthrate, you have to have immigration, one way or the other. Or, you end up like Japan - and their situation is getting worse by the year...Illegal Immigration (to me) is the result of the problem, not the cause. I could probably immerse myself and buy in to America and it's culture and doubt I could the Japanese, it's not only about immigration but Americanizing and learning our way of life.Nothing you've said changes the actual demographics one iota. Well he can say whatever he wants, but he shouldn't be surprised when companies stop doing business with him that don't agree with what he says.Trump is vilified for speaking (what he believes is) the truth.
I'm just pointing out that Japan has successfully completely stifled any immigration to amount to anything. The bets are on how soon it collapses their society completely...I could probably immerse myself and buy in to America and it's culture and doubt I could the Japanese, it's not only about immigration but Americanizing and learning our way of life.
This response exemplifies my point.Well he can say whatever he wants, but he shouldn't be surprised when companies stop doing business with him that don't agree with what he says.
And when those businesses (like the majority of the major media outlets) make a point of putting such a leftist slant on everything they say to the point of it becoming an outright lie, then he probably neither needs nor wants their business.Well he can say whatever he wants, but he shouldn't be surprised when companies stop doing business with him that don't agree with what he says.
the market can be a cruel mistressThis response exemplifies my point.
that leftist enclave macys is dropping him like a bad habit as well. And when those businesses (like the majority of the major media outlets) make a point of putting such a leftist slant on everything they say to the point of it becoming an outright lie, then he probably neither needs nor wants their business.
The problem is that the latter is acceptable in politics but the former is not. This environment was not suddenly created by the Clintons or anyone else. My goodness, if SOCIETY has to exist on the foundation of truth, it would cease tomorrow. Imagine if businesses actually HAD to tell the truth about all their dealings (we have kids slaving for us in Nicaragua, we support apartheid in S Africa, etc) prior to getting found out by string pullers.Trump is vilified for speaking (what he believes is) the truth. Hillary Clinton gets a pass for speaking what she knows is a lie.
I guess it my lefty underwear from Macy's speaking. And when those businesses (like the majority of the major media outlets) make a point of putting such a leftist slant on everything they say to the point of it becoming an outright lie, then he probably neither needs nor wants their business.
I have an image of Hillary Clinton hiding in the pant suit racks and jumping out and grabbing unsuspecting conservatives to drag them back to her lair.that leftist enclave macys is dropping him like a bad habit as well.
