If this is a response to my question (and a yes/no would have been good), there is no pot stirring here. I've been away from the board for a week and was just curious.
His leg was amputated. He will still start and we will still beat 11RC by 4 TDs.

#13 has his moves back, maybe ?

I still want to know why we didn't challenge the spot after the slide. You could tell the BAMA side thought it was a first down as Jalen started warming up. Tua obviously made it.
That's pretty much not how you want the game called, though.
Jalen has been a good thrower this year. He's still not as quick as Tua at diagnosing a defense but he's not overthrowing dudes by 20 yards or just sailing them out of bounds when he does find the open guy.
My take on this thread....... To me, it looked like Tua was uncomfortable the whole Mizzou game. He was not his accurate self and favored his knee. When he made the run where he seemed to aggravate the injury, I did not see anywhere in that play where he planted on that leg to cut or anything of that sort that would worsen the injury. I think he bent it too far and it hurt like crazy. Now I don't pretend to be smarter or know any more than anyone else here...... this is simply what I gathered from the information I got from the CNS press conferences and what I saw on the field. A sprain IS ligament damage. A torn ACL IS a knee sprain, though there are certainly different grades of sprains. Even the grade I sprain is painful and causes swelling. Had Tua had a sprain requiring a procedure, it would have been done already.
I trust the Bama doctors and coaches to make the right choices for the player's health. If Tua plays..... great. If not, that is fine as well. The new and improved Jalen will have no problems running the offense. He is NOT Tua by any stretch of the imagination, but he has been throwing the ball in rhythm for the most part and is looking at different receivers. It is not something we saw from him last year. Bama has also been playing Jacobs a bunch. Jacobs (no offense to Damien who actually has more receiving yards) has the hands of a receiver and is a great dump off guy as obviously Damien is as well. I don't look for Jalen to be able to make the offense as lethal or look as easy as Tua does, but I still think it will be a well oiled machine with balance and more TOP which could actually result in a better performance from the Bama defense. In other words, if Tua is held out for precautionary reasons to heal, I have absolutely no worries that Jalen can Captain the Tide offense with plenty of moxie !! Jalen elected to stay on board knowing he was to be a backup. Bless his heart. It is possible he could see more playing time this week.
I had my knee scoped in August (meniscus tear) and for about two or three weeks if I bent it too much, it hurt like crap for a few minutes. Even without him having surgery, I can imagine something like that happening to Tua. (Even if he's a lot younger than me!)I think he bent it too far and it hurt like crazy.
There are pages and pages of people dissecting what this meant. Please, let's don't start over.

Next question.
I'm waiting for someone to change their username to Tua's knee... That would be great way to inject humor in this group.
Someone already has on another board lolI'm waiting for someone to change their username to Tua's knee... That would be great way to inject humor in this group.

"Tua'sKneeShakeback1-3" has a nice ring to it.
