Tuberville=No Class

Whether at Ole Miss or Awborn College, Tubby has always been a lower class, trashy, scumbag. Awborn and Tubby deserve each other!

Let's not forget that he is an ex coach at The Univ. of Miami. so that explains it.

The show of no class and disrespect of the opposing team, as displayed by Tubby's actions at the end of the game, also rubs off on his players. Case in point, after the win against UGA, Kenny Irons said in his interview, that "I'm happy with the win, but we didn't win like we wanted to. We knew we were the better team." Now, at first glance it doesn't seem like what he said was classless, but it was not what he actually said, but more in the way he said it. Most players with class will say how they are glad to get the win, but they also give proper credit to the other team. Especially in a hard fought, close game that could have went either way. He acted like UGA didn't have a chance to beat them or belonged on the same field with Auburn. I lost my respect for him right there.

The Alabama - Auburn game is not one founded on mutual respect. These teams and their fans hate one another. I see nothing wrong with the behavior of TT or Irons...

Let them have their day in the sun. Probation is behind us. The future is Alabamas not aubarns. I know it is hard to be patient but we are coming. We are going to add tremendous and talented depth in the next few years. This class restored expectations and got the recruits attention. Let aubarn enjoy it. Their time is a small window in the big scheme of things.

I beg to disagree. I know the rival between UGA and AU is not like the rivalry between Bama and AU. I've been around a long time. I know what the Iron Bowl is all about. But, when a HC did what TT did at the end of the game is showing no-class whatsoever. And as for Irons and his interview that I spoke of, that was a prime example of an overblown ego. You might not agree, that's your right, but that is the way I see it.

Dawg,

I understand what you're saying, but I really think this is just an example of some Bama fans having thin skin. Tubs has beaten us 4 yrs in a row, and has also had his way with you guys tooo. He is doing what he is paid 2 million dollars a year to do--win football games and especially beat your main rivals--Georgia and Alabama. He is doing that. We can all find fault with him and make fun of him, but he is the one getting the last laugh right now. I hate him, but I RESPECT what he has accomplished on the plains.

Dumbo ears is gonna get plenty of my kind of respect
when he loses at BD stadium the first time. I hope he's
got a way to teleport.

I know we all like to poke fun at Tuberville, but he has now taken us to school four years in a row, and five out of six. You may love him, you may hate him, but you must RESPECT what he has accomplished. When was the last time we had a coach win four in a row against the Barn?

When is the last time we played the barn 4 years in a row when we were fully loaded after they had majory NCAA penalties taking away ungodly amounts of scholarships?

I'm not making excuses. Tonight's loss wasn't the result of probation. We were seriously outcoached and out played. But the last three victories for Auburn came more easily because of the mess our program was in. So the 4 in a row does not bother me so much. Now it DID bother me losing from 86-89. We were on a level playing field all 4 of those years, and that's why Curry got the boot. So when were are FULLY loaded with experienced talent in all phases of the game, I'll worry about losing 4 in a row.

Yep, it does sound like sour grapes. We really need to reserve the classless comments until next year after we stomp a mud hole in their butt. Auburn has always had an inferiority complex when it comes to us vs. them. Every last one of them know this glory will be short lived, so they are trying to milk it for all it is worth.

True, they have taken advantage during the worse period in Crimson Tide history, but their wins still count. Just take comfort in knowing they have been successful in recruiting because we were on probation. In most cases, they owned recruiting in the State of Alabama during the past four years. We are still suffering from the lack of talent, but those effects are starting to wear off. The pendelum has started to swing in our direction and Auburn's superior talent will continue to decline as Bama's recruiting brings in the quality.

They won. Let them enjoy it. I can name six SEC head coaches that are superior to Tubby right now, so things will take care of themselves in due time.

I think this quote shows the "class" exhibited by thier players:

"I think they got full of themselves," Auburn linebacker Travis Williams said. "They won some games this year by the skin of their teeth. We were watching it all year and we were like, 'Man, these guys keep escaping.'

"We really wanted them to be undefeated coming into this game so we could really make them look bad."

This is from the article on the game at ESPN.com you can see the respect they have for our players huh?

Yeah, but he was right...

Sour grapes or not, I have never, ever, seen a head coach pull crap like that. I'm not one that usually pulls the "class card" but a spade is a spade and that was purely classless. I can deal with players leading the band, that is to be expected. But a head coach, give me a break.

I've been deleted a couple of times today by moderators (whom I can only assume are teenagers?) for expressing my opinion. So let me just say this:

Tuberville showed no class. He has no right to celebrate his 4th straight victory over Alabama.

Alabama outplayed Auburn today.

Our offensive coaches are outstanding. Their innovative scheming is the stuff of legend.

Our players played with more effort than Auburn.

I'm glad we threw the ball so many times; our passing attack is impressive!

Alabama was the best team. We were well prepared.

I foresee many Iron Bowl losses for Tuberville in the future.

I seem to remember Fraud "raising the roof" after his win at AU. Bottom line, if we didn't won't to see the four fingers don't let them win 4 in a row.

Well that was Fraud. I would consider going to Texas A&M from Alabama and destroying their program classless. We accepted him for two years and then his fraud ways came out and we disowned him. He had a great coaching record, but he was terrible and will never be claimed by Bama as much as the Barn claims Tuberville

get over it people!!!!! he's kicked our *** 4 years in a row now.and i don't see it changing any time soon!!!i saw the whole game and nothing tubby did on sat was classless.some of you can't except the truth when we get our butts kicked ,instead we have to find excuses and faults with the way the other team handled their self, but its find and dandy when we beat someone and tell them "we just beat the hell out of you".

I thought it was classless also but in my 40+ years that is what has come out of Auburn as a whole. I still go back to what Coach Bryant said, "Act like you have been there before." It seems AU has never been there.

You hit the nail on the head. This post isn't about sour grapes or getting over a tail whipping. It's about a head coach failing to set an example of good sportsmanship with his words and actions.

Some of the replies to this post confirms my suspicion there are several undercover Barners on this board. :cool2:

The Tubmeister stuck for you guys 3 weeks ago ...

Yuze guys have such short memories. Three weeks ago, Tubby created a ruckus when he said that if 'Bama went unbeaten, it should play for the NC, and that ESPN was wrongfully trying to influence voters to ensure it was the whorns against the condoms. He stuck up for you guys. So he holds up 4 fingers at the end of the game. So what.

The simple fact of the matter is that for whatever unfathomable reason, in the biggest game of the year, your team sleepwalked through the first 20 minutes. I could not believe what I was watching.

I didn't delete your posts, I'm 60 so not a teenager, I didn't even stay at a Holliday Inn last night. But I did ban you.

Sometimes it's not what you say but how you say it.
