I was hoping that it would be Birmingham vs St Louis because I thought it would be a better game, better turnout, and AJ. But Wade Phillips has made a very good defensive team.

That official has been blind all day. That is the same one that called a fumble on a pass that went 4 yards forward.

I’ve been to one game and every replay they put the official on the scoreboard and you see and hear going through the process of the review. I wish college and the nfl would do it because it’s such a horrible shock when a ref just announces a ruling out of that feels came out of left field

Yeah I pretty much thought St Louis might have been the only shot at beating Birmingham from that side of the league. But not much of one. It was mostly because they would have had a home field advantage and an offense that could stretch the defense. St. Louis however would have no answers for Birmingham’s offense.

I think San Antonio has a great defense but Garbers wasn’t going to scare Birmingham throwing enough for Birmingham to respect them, and Skip was going to be incredibly patient with Martinez against this defense.

I think the bigger concern is on Garcia and the Rock’s side of the ownership dialing back their involvement. There was talk of expansion and moving Michigan and Arlington to different locations then all of the sudden things halted a few weeks later after rumors started about the involvement from the XFL side of the merger.

IDK I think we get a year 2 if FOX and ESPN stay committed
