UGA paying high schoolers to stay committed

one thing that the state of Georgia is doing that is good is cracking down on the transfer rules for high school. One year ineligible for all transfers. So some super power high school team can't just go get a super star one year guy that rents an apartment and wins them a title
Yeah but they’re still renting houses and uprooting whole families for four year stints…first hand knowledge…14 yr old rising fr. And they’re willing to move his entire family into a nice house in a nice neighborhood for four years. A 14 year old that I watch doing silly kid things…could be responsible for where his family lives…smh…

I highly doubt its just Georgia doing something like this and it probably speaks more to the collective of top tier teams in terms of money and budget.

i cant even imagine how much this all changes day by day as schools are bidding with each other over players

and I know for certain that Georgia is not spending nearly as much as some other programs are like Miami and Oregon
As much as I despise Georgia and their fans, I agree they’re likely not alone in doing this. Considering the mindset of many recruits now, I‘m thinking most programs are having to do the same.
