I read somewhere on X (can't find it now) that some UGA insider said Beck moving on (NFL or xfer) was a 'mutual decision' between UGA and Beck. If true, it sounds like both parties were ready for a fresh start.

Kind of sounds like the sour grapes "we didn't want him anyways..." take.

Thanks, but there were others who felt he'd end up at Miami as well. Several schools were mentioned but Miami was the only one that seemed to make sense.

One fan base would be open to their starting QB coming back and it ain’t Alabama. There’s the biggest difference

I think Beck is better personally. Ewers I wouldn't really want. Beck is a bit better deep than Ewers. Ewers just has better WRs and offensive coach IMO.

ND - 18TDs 6Ints
Penn State - 24TDs 7INTs
Texas - Ewers who you already mentioned 29TDs 11INTs
Ohio State - 32Tds and 9INTs

One of those QBs is going to win a title and I think any of those are within Becks range of possibilities. I think we could win one with a QB like Beck. I believe in DeBoer and his ability to get a little bit more out of Beck than UGA could.

Obviously DeBoer has a better idea of what we have in Mack and Ty than I do. So if he decides they are good enough I'm fine with it. But I'm not sold on Ty and don't know enough about Mack to be confident in either. I also just don't know if Keelon will be ready since he needs to gain weight and very few freshmen QBs can start right away. So I think Beck would make some sense and I do think we could go far with him

Austin Mack is a very good passer. But he's not a dual threat type QB.

Hilarious? You must be easily amused.

Milroe kept hitting the guardrails cuz he couldn’t steer the car and refused to allow another driver. Beck at least kept the car in the lanes.
