ULMonroe vs. Baylor

After upsetting the Hogs and giving the Barn all they wanted. How do you see the Warhawks fairing against The Bears tonight? I honestly don't know how to pick this game.:conf3:

Baylor gave up I think 23 points to Sam Houston State..

Baylor is only favored by a TD or so (8.5 was last I saw). I don't gamble, but I'd bet on Baylor this week out of any other matchups. ULM gave up a ton to Arky when they had Wilson and gave up a lot to the barn; their D isn't good and Baylor has a very explosive offense (granted their defense is probably equal to the barn's), but I expect this to be like a 56-27 Baylor win.

You are correct the spread is 8.5 now. Opened up at 8 I believe then dropped to 7.5 for a little while. I don't think either team will play great D... A shootout is what I see happening. I'm also leaning towards Baylor though. Granted at halftime against Sam Houston state Baylor was behind 20-10. Then Baylor outscored Sam Houston 38-3 in the second half..scoring 14 in the 3rd and 24 in the 4th. while only giving up a field goal in the second half. However, I do believe ULM is a better team than Sam Houston though.

ULM is better, but SHSU was a good wake up for Baylor, whereas ULM may be a bit emotionally spent after Arky and the barn. Art Briles is a very good offensive coach; I just don't see ULM staying within 10 points. It's is why I don't bet; this would be my most confident "bet" of the week, but there's no certainty which Baylor team shows up.

I always feel for the players of these smaller teams, that don't have huge crowds to support them.

ULM's offensive line has some corn-fed, "country strong" boys on it. They really are a tough out for a lot of teams this year.

ULM is in Louisiana and Baylor is in Texas. Based on location and source of football players, I go with ULM.
