uniform change

Before I throw this out there, I realize the chances of bama ever changing ANY part of the current uniform are about as high as Phat Fulmer landing on the cover of Men's Health.
However, I believe that it woud be cool to see bama play in a metalic grey colored pants. Grey is kind of our unofficial third color anyway. Big Al is grey, our face masks are grey, etc. (sort of like uga's greyish/silverish bottoms)
I would never want to permanently change from our white one's, but it would be a sweet change up for a big game like UT....sometimes a little change can get the players pumped up just a little more than usual.(See the TB buccaneers a couple of years ago when they changed uni's and won the super bowl.)Anyaway...forget the white helmets...let's switch up our pants! RTR!!

I hate change. I don't like the new logo. The new "A" on the 50 bugs me. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't Miami-ize the uniforms!!!!

I think the crimson-on-white is the classiest uniform in college football.

I'm just a complainer, though. I hated New Coke, too. If it ain't broke...

Really?? Because I was really thinking bama was somehow becoming Tampa Bay during the NFL season. No....seriously....I could give you several other examples of how "spicing" up uni's have had a positive effect on teams. Like I said, never permenantly, but occasionally it would be fun.

I'm not really into all this throwback stuff. I like things as they are. But I suppose that if Bama wanted to wear an old Rose Bowl uniform, and run out of the Notre Dame Box on offense for one game, that it would be okay. Do we have another Harry Gilmer to make it work?

I think red and white stiped helmets and khaki colored pants would be an interesting throwback.
