One of my best friends is close to Ward Pell(the late Charley Pell's wife, former Florida coach in the 80's) and he(my friend) came over to watch the LSU-Notre Dame game with me last week. At halftime he told me that Mrs. Pell called him today and was telling my friend that Ben Griffin(the man who the Swamp is named after) was flying her out the NC game with OSU and was going to have her watch the game with UM's family. UM, I am told is very respectful of her and Coach Pell even though he never met him. My friend told me that UM called her on Wed afternoon and started out" hey glad you are coming out here, blah, blah, blah, .Then all of a sudden he started asking all kinds of question's about CNS(hey heard yall got a coach now, etc) and was asking her stuff like who the assts. were going to be, who he might recruit, yada yada yada......at the time I thought " this guy is trying to prepare to win the NC and here he is trying to find out about CNS.....sounds like he was a little threatened. However, after the game he may have just need to kill some time since they ready to play last night
