The SEC is a crazy conference. UGA has played horrible in Neyland the last two trips despite Richt having a generally stellar road record (of course, it helps that Florida isn't a true road game for them). Tennessee's offense looked beyond horrible 6 weeks into the season and all the sudden puts 45 on an SEC defense. Heck, Arkansas must have given up around 15 or maybe more explosive plays against UGA+Bama in consecutive weeks and proceeded to prevent the big play from Auburn for the most part in route to a rout.

It's hard to make heads or tails of teams in the SEC sometimes.

The faithful here are growing awfully tired of Richt and his loyalty to Bobo and Martinez. UGAg might have one of the most undisciplined teams I have seen in a long time.

UGA loaded the box and made ucheat win the game with a weak arm QB and guess what UGA's pass defense is horrible so that was just not a smart thing to do.. All they had to do was play a cover 2 and make crompton beat you underneath and no way he is anywhere as good as UGA made him look..........

Guess his dad didn't get kicked out today??????????

I've been saying for years that Richt is just an okay coach. With the talent he's had over there he should be a contender year after year.

His staff is among the worst at coaching talent. Seems players get worse once they get to Athens.

I had a feeling before the season that UT would win one game they weren't expected to. This was hopefully that one.

Willie Martinez should be fired sooner, rather than later. UGA is TERRIBLE on defense, and there is really no excuse for it, they have talent.

Richt saved his job last year. Richt's weakness is his loyalty. Will Richt quit if they force him to make changes? Thats the question many are asking.

I had a feeling before the season that UT would win one game they weren't expected to. This was hopefully that one.

Don't worry about Bama losing to UcheaT if that is what you are implying. CNS is the Viles worst nightmare. Alabama will take care of business against UcheaT. Count on it. :smile:

I could be wrong, but UGA hasn't been the same since our "Blackout" drubbing of them last season.

I went over to a UGA forum and Richt is taking some serious heat. Richt is not quite the fair-hared boy now that he once was.

I am also curious as to whether Richt is willing to go down with the ship, like Shula and Croom. The longer this drags out, the more he looks like this type of coach - a man of impeccable character, but lacking the "IT" needed to be a champion.

Absolutely! I cannot believe how bad their D backfield is. I figured that they would beat UT even with their terrible Dback play but they made Crompton look like the next Heisman winner; 310 yards and 4 TDs !

I have never seen anything like it at UGA. Martinez will go but not until seasons end. But, I am not convinced that Martinez is the whole problem. He will be the scapegoat but UGA is breaking down in a lot of areas, they just do not look good.

He played good...definitely his best game in Knoxville (excluding WKU). Hopefully he is not going to give us false hope heading to the game vs you guys in 2 weeks. If yesterday's Crompton and WRs shows up it could be a ball game. If not, it could be another FL or AU game where the score is respectable...but a definite Bama win.

I think Bama will beat us. I hope not, but being realistic. That is the only game left on the schedule, at this point, that I think TN does not have a legit shot at winning. That said, we may not win any of them. I have a much better feeling against USCe and Ole Miss than I did a couple of week ago. We could go in nearly any direction at this point, from 4-8 to 8-4...hopefully it will be a fun ride.

I hope we can get more pressure on Crompton than UGA did. I think it would make a big difference.:wink:
