This thread has gone from a debate to a barroom argument. It hurts my eyes to see the same words typed in post after post after post. Either you can't understand each other or just plain disagree, someone has to give up sooner or later. Let NYBamaFan have the last word and it will die but he will have the last word count on it.

My only point is that Utah obviously has more to do in order to reach the top and had better act ASAP to schedule whoever will play them regardless of the site .

Personally, I think that's the funniest part. I'm considering creating a drinking game based on this thread. Everytime a percentage sign, Conference name or ranking shows up, you have to drink. I'll be Charles Barkley by early afternoon.

We don't know if they were Utah fans, MWC fans, West Coast Athletic disciples, FSU or Miami fans, etc... with internet connections. Do you vote on their polls every time you go to ESPN to check out scores. I know I don't unless it is a game changing play of the week poll for Bama! Chances are other do the same thing for their team!

Now, to clear up one point - I do not think that Utah is the best team in the country this year. I think that is either Florida or USC. I voted for Florida in the ESPN poll. But I think that Utah did well enough to get a shot.

Your argument here isn't really about Utah being the best team in the country this year, your argument is about the need for a playoff, which I don't know anyone that disagrees with you on that.

So I take it you aren't going to attend their championship parade? :biggrin:

And I say we beat Utah 9 out of 10 times.

Utah: Congrats on a great season. It's a shame your schedule was so weak that you didn't have a shot at the national championship. It's pretty clear that you'd have had a much better shot at it had you played a tougher schedule.

Surely you can grasp that fact...
