UW-Milwaukee received as many votes as LSU

In the USA Today/ ESPN Top 25 poll - 13. Had more votes than Texas- 11, West Virginia-11, Minnesota-6, So. Illnois-6, Iowa-3, NC State-3, among others in the dance. In the AP poll they had more votes than Stanford-4, Texas-3, Minnesota-1, NC State-1, UCLA-1 among others.

Texas is an 8 seed, So. Illinois is a 7 seed, Minn. is an 8 seed, LSU is a 6 seed, NC. State- a 10 seed and W. Virginia -a 7. While that doesn't mean much other than 13 people have a lot of respect for UW-M, I can certainly see that giving them confidence. I believe we win but I look for a tight game, especially if our shooting is off. Would we be more worried playing one of the teams mentioned above? I believe most fans would be screaming bloody murder if we had drawn Texas, Minnesota, LSU, W.Virginia or NC. State.

Don't over look this team, somebody else is certainly not. We will need to be on top of our game to move on and "gasp" get B.C. Then what? The #1 ranked team in the nation. I'm getting ahead of my self I know but That's what I predict will happen. I believe we got as tough a draw as you could get. But bring it on!

I'm no LSU fan, but how on earth are they not ranked? They've been red hot the last month and their only loss was by 1 to UK in OT in what basically amounted to a UK home game.

Because SEC teams have to earn every rank position they get (with the exception of UK). NC, Duke, bunch of Big 10 teams can have mediocre seasons and still get respect, not Bama, LSU, etc..
