Hey guys,

I thought that I had posted some video clips of Tech for you guys to get a feel for what we want to do. But alas, I could not find them in my lack luster search. If these clips have been posted previously, I apologize

They are clips from 2004. The QB is different, but the WR's and defense are essentially the same. Keep in mind that this is from last year. I just thought you guys might have wanted to see some video.

Let me know what you think.

With Tech up 49-10 in the middle of the 4th, why do they throw into the endzone?

That passing game is scary. Here's to hoping the weather report for Dallas for Jan 2nd includes alot of wind and rain/snow/ice.

We pass the entire game. We don't stop. We don't let up. We try to score on EVERY play. It doesn't matter if we're up by 50 or down by 50. We don't have "fullback off center" in our playbook. (We don't even have a fullback on the roster.) Some schools have viewed this as running up the score, but we take a different approach. We see the game as being 60 minutes long, not until you reach a certain lead or deficit. We run our offense which gains experience for our QB, which is the most vital component of our system.

As for the weather, it doesn't really affect us that much. Lubbock is pretty windy and cold. During our last game, the winds were 40 mph +, and it didn't effect Cody.

Basically, Mike Leach doesn't have an "Off Switch".

Leach will pull the starters, but will not stop running his offense. When the second team goes into the game, he expects them to fully execute on each play until they score. He believes that 1) they'll gain game day experience, 2) scoring should become a habit (something that is expected of them when they step onto the field), and 3) his team should always play at their full capacity.

Regarding the weather, it gets windy in Lubbock and down right cold. The day finals ended, Leach held practice . . . it was 27 degrees. Leach has said he prefers the wind to be blowing 25-30 mph because he knows his QB is comfortable with it when the oposing QB has very limited experience with it.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the game. I think it's going to be a good one! Hopefully my Red Raiders will win of course!

That Nebraska team might have been the slowest, least physical team I've ever seen.

I doubt that TT fans have figured out that 21 points will win this game.

Good luck. :eek2:
