We're forecast to dip into the 40s overnight. First time in the 40s since mid-March45 last night on the mountain; high in low 60s. Yesterday's high was 51...
Not crazy about extreme cold, like our -2 last winter, two nights in a row, with a high of 11 in the middle, but I don't like extreme heat, either. Generally, I like fall and spring (when we have them)...Already fall weather here and I'm not a fan - it was in the 40's this AM when I started my workout (outside).
I hate the cold.

I was driving across Lake Ponchartrain in December of 1974 at night on my way to the ND/Bama Sugar Bowl. I've never seen fog like that before or since. The only way I could see the road in places was to open the car door and look at the double yellow line. Three friends were with me, two of them female, and it was nerve wracking.People don't know how to drive......add in certain weather conditions and look out!
Bumped into an ex Chicagoan at the Dentist this morning. Conversation turned from the state of Madison AL roads to the Dan Ryan "Raceway" through Chicago. It reminded me of being caught in the north bound lanes there during an ice storm.
