FSU looked like a very good team. If their QB can not make some of the crazy bone headed throws he made in that game, they could be a great team. Their D and run game looked strong.

Did they really, though?

FSU looked decidedly average in the first half and LSU would have been running away with the game on the scoreboard if not for some boneheaded playcalling.

In the second half, sure, they looked great but that was also against a team that quickly stated giving up because things weren't going their way.

At this point, I could easily see FSU losing two or three games they probably shouldn't.

And, at this point, I wouldn't be completely shocked if LSU doesn't make a bowl game...

I was shocked how FSU's physicality continued into the second half and LSU's seemed to fall off a cliff. There was a point in the first half LSU defense was suffocating FSU's OL.

This was a classic case of halftime adjustments for one team and the other just thinking they were good enough to keep doing the same thing.

Another epic reminder BK is only a legend in his own mind.

Did anybody hear him say after the game "It's all FSU."???

"lets not overreact to one game" Which ok cool, But if Bama drops a game early by 3 points it will be the same "The dynasty is dead, the season is over" crap. But LSU gets Boat raced by a team by 21 points. And its "well...lets just see where it goes".

LSU is one of those teams that plays with a ton of emotion. They fold when they have nothing to play for.

Definitely Looked like they quit on D last night. They have to learn more than 1 game on the schedule.

As tricky as there spread....Triple option...whatever they were running was last night. I am not sure they can do that for 11 more games without Daniels being broken in half. He was taking a beating in game 1.

I think so. So what if LSU quit? According to everyone here when the Alabama teams of the last decade and a half played a team and “made their ass quit” toward the end of a game we were good? But when LSU quit in the 2nd half FSU was not?

Out of all the week 1 ball I saw, IMO FSU looked the best. Who knows if that translates to anything at the end of the season though….

I don’t hate on Kelley. He’s grown on me. Like his straight up comments (it’s all Alabama). Let see how LSU develops this season. Think he makes the west tougher. Miss Les.

This failed to age well.

I thought he ate some humble pie and grew as a person. I’m totally fine that isn't the case.

I’ll start looking for another growth story. Y’all can laugh at that one when I find it.
