On the NFL front Najee has a TD and Amari Cooper has a TD tonight.
Ok, I remember that one. It matched up fine with the ill-fated Iron Bowl a week away.2010 Georgia State. We lobbied to get the game moved because of all the teams that had byes before us.
Just remembered too, that was the first game I watched 100% on my laptop. For some reason it wasn't on my cable channels and I managed to find a feed online. Was a great coming out game for Nudie (Jalston Fowler -- his alma mater same as mine: Vigor High School). I remember that Ga St kid returning a kick for a TD. And if I'm not mistaken, Star Jackson started that game for Ga St.2010 Georgia State. We lobbied to get the game moved because of all the teams that had byes before us.
Will always be one of my favorites of all time.On the NFL front Najee has a TD and Amari Cooper has a TD tonight.
Yes, wasn't that 2007?Anyone remember not too long ago that both of these teams played a brand of football that at least impacted who competed for a national championship and they, themselves, were in on the conversation?
I agree...the people I've known from WV tended to be intelligent, hard working and very successful...of course that is a small sample. I did ask one why this was so and he said that a lot of the smarter people left the state in order to pursue careers that were unavailable back home.I've never met anyone from West Virginia that I thought wasn't a good person.
Congrats on your win tonight.........
I can tell you the fans I met in Atlanta when Bama played them were good people…..I took my late father to that game and we were in a crowd of WV fans and they were a lot of funI've never met anyone from West Virginia that I thought wasn't a good person.
Congrats on your win tonight.........
A sad casualty of realignment.Anyone remember not too long ago that both of these teams played a brand of football that at least impacted who competed for a national championship and they, themselves, were in on the conversation?
What disappointed me the most is how undisciplined Tech was last night. All those penalties - some giving their opponent new life.VT football has fallen so far from Beamer ball. Packed house to watch them get embarrassed by a mediocre WV team.
This same Tech team lost to ODU so there is that. What disappointed me the most is how undisciplined Tech was last night. All those penalties - some giving their opponent new life.
The icing on the cake was the targeting penalty with about 4 minutes left. The game was already lost and they do that. It wasn't one of those controversial targeting calls either. It was very purposeful!
I hope they get a handle on that - if not it will be a long year for them.
I'm happy for West Virginia though - they deserved the win.....
