thing about the Arky game in 2003 was that it was really wet BEFORE the game, but once the game started (after what, a 1-2 hour delay?), there wasn't any more significant rain, and it stayed pretty comfortable, from what I can remember...Me too.

I have to agree with this one...(2) 2001 Alabama v. Southern Miss. This was the week after we beat Auburn 31-7, and it was pretty big because we needed the win to get bowl eligible. I really had not planned on going because I had made the drive up to Jordan-Hare the week before, but I was in the area to visit the family and figured that I would go. Me and some friends parked, and it was flooding, and honestly it was just getting started. I remember thinking to myself, "If we lose this one, this is going to be the worst experience I've ever had at a 'Bama game." Fortunately we held on, but it was miserable. As a whole it wasn't as bad as the 1979 LSU game, but at times it was even worse, and it would come in as a close second. I bet the equipment guys had to throw out every uniform that was put on that day.
it was '89 and it was that wet! rained the entire game. my dad was shivering by halftime but i couldn't get him to leave. i was scared he'd be sick from it but he managed ok.It was either 1989 or 1990 Bame at Vanderbilt.
It was the first game I ever went to. I was young, so it might not have been that wet. I just remember having to wear a poncho the whole game.
That one was a tough one, no doubt about it. It wasn't just rain, but very severe weather. Chad Key, most of you guys will probably remember him, had this to say about it:'94 Ole Miss Game
I bought my student season tickets and I wasn't going to waste even one of them. It looked like a high school stadium at one point in the game, but me and my friends weren't about to leave for even a second.
Chad Key said:I have to admit, it was hard to keep my mind on the game. Don't get me wrong, I like football, but I like living, too.
home of the faunsdale bar and grill1997, Mississippi State at Alabama. It was wet and freezing. I have never been so miserable in my entire career as a Bama fan.
My brother and I made the trip from Mobile, leaving about 0430 because the game was a Lincoln Financial 1130 start.
We stopped at Faunsdale on the way home, and they had that big fireplace stoked. I still remember standing in front of that roaring fire, and shivering for an hour.
I'm not sure you remember the game correctly. It rained 99.9% of the game. The tornado's occured in the 1st half because the teams left the field for a while. It was nasty ALL DAY LONG but a great game. Don't forget Bo had a long run yes, but so did Bama's Ricky Moore. It was back and forth for most of the game.It was '83. I was sitting in the end zone with my brother. Unseasonably warm.
First time I'd ever heard the PA announcer warm about the weather. Tornado warnings all over Birmingham -- hell, the bands and cheerleaders left for a while.
When the rain came, it arrived on the trajectory of arrows. And it hit just as we got the wind heading into the 4th Quarter.
I don't know what was worse: Bo's two long TD runs, the weather, or the drunk behind me N-wording it up everytime Walter Lewis ran on the field.
Now that I think of it, the weather wasn't that bad.
That is correct on Ricky Moore. We were trailing 16-14, and we had the ball at around our own 40. I remember specifically that Auburn called a huge blitz, and we ran a draw play to Moore. It was one of those deals where it looked like he would get creamed, but somehow popped through and next thing you know it was nothing but green grass in front of him.I'm not sure you remember the game correctly.
