What are your New Years Food Traditions?

NYE - Seafood galore. Normally I boil a giant pot of crab legs, mussels, clams, shrimp, and scallops. I'll put corn and potatoes in as well. We'll melt lots of butter and have cocktail and tartar sauce, too.

NYD - Sauerkraut, pork, mashed potatoes and applesauce.

We usually go out to a nice dinner on NYE. Nowhere in particular.

How will the games affect that for you this year?

Ham, black eyed peas, collard greens and cornbread :smile:

Bayou Tider's Hoppin John with extra Cajun spices, andouille plus shrimp along with a side of garden fresh collards cooked in chicken stock with bacon+drippings and Cajun spices. Plenty of iced tea and colder beer to cool the heat.

Fried Mullet, cole slaw, cheese grits and hush puppies. By this time were burned out on ham & turkey.

How will the games affect that for you this year?

We aren't doing that this year. Going over to a friends house for a low key NYE, football party. I offered to help him cook something on his BGE.
