Actually, I kind of like Hog fans. The term "fan", after all, was originally only a shortened rendering of the word "fanatic". I like objectivity and realism in analysts and common-taters, but I find it boring to the point of depression in college fan bases.

I expect Hawg fans to be overly optimistic and to look for victory in spite of all odds. I seem to remember doing the same during some of our down years. Let 'em rave--they're supposed to.

I even believe that their team will come out with fire in the gut and maybe even make it dicey at first. I can't see Arky hanging in with us this year, though. Sorry, Sooee, but it's hawg-killin' weather in Fayetteville. Bama covers and then some.

I've noticed their confidence go up over the past few days. They have several sports talk personalities that are sunshine pumpers and they have the fans believing that UWI and ULM were decent teams. I'm gonna deflate them come Monday morning if Bama blows them out. If we don't, then I just want call. Ha
