Since the boogs are celebrating their first National Championship in 53 years (and they can really only talk about their favorite plays/moments from Monday nights game when referencing a National Championship) I ask this question:

-What is your favorite play/moment from our National Championship gameS (plural)?

Was it the "Goal Line Stand", "The Strip", "Back to Back of '78 & ' 79", "Ingram & Richardson performance of '09", etc.?

Maybe you have more than one favorite. Maybe you have a favorite moment/play from each. Whatever it is, please share.

And as always.....Roll Tide!

man, "The Strip" definitely has to be up there. I think in '10 BCS game, I was just so happy with the team effort and the team in general that I don't really have a favorite play.

Anders'***** on the Gilbert kid from last year is right up there. The kid was shaky, but he'd gotten his team back into game. When I saw Anders come off the line unblocked, I knew something big was about to happen. And Upshaw's recovery was just as important. We were able to ice what had been somewhat of a nerve wrecking 2nd half after that.

I wasn't alive to watch it live...but the entire series leading up to the Goal Line Stand is amazing. Every play had to happen the way it did for that last play to happen.

I was alive for the '93 Sugar Bowl...but I have watched it so many times now that it's hard to remember exactly what it was like watching it all live. Teague's pick-6 was awesome as well as The Strip.

I think all of the big plays from last year's BCS game will be in my memory forever because, like the '93 Sugar Bowl, that game put us back on top where we belong.

I would say "the Strip" but I was only 9 years old at the time and while I remember the game, I was playing with my cousins and friends that had come over with their families to watch the game. I didn't watch much of the game when it happened live because of this. So, I'll have to say the Dareus interception and return for a TD to end the 1st half last year. I felt very confident at that point that we had the game won. I reckon the team did too seeing how they played in the 3rd quarter. But they slammed the door shut in the 4th.

Watching the Dareus INT return last year. I was at the game and in the endzone section that he ran into, so it was cool to see it unfold. It left us all pumped during halftime (even though texas got close), it was a great play to behold, especially since we had a few ut guys around us.

If we're talking about NC's, I've only been alive for two titles. To this day, George Teague running down Lamar Thomas is the most amazing thing I've ever seen on a football field. I worked with a guy from Florida who's a golfing buddy of Thomas, and had no idea about him being stripped to his drawers on CFB's biggest stage. I let him know. "The Strip" is definitely my favorite championship moment.

My favorite football moment is a tie between the drubbing we gave Fulmer in 2007 at BDS, which I was there for, and 36-0. CNS saying "They shouldn't have played press coverage," referring to GMac's TD pass, might give "The Shutout" a slight edge over the Fulmer evisceration, but it's close - really close.

My Favorite is when our Players banged Coach Saban in the head with the "Gatorade Bath"..It was hilarious..But I was scared for the ones that dumped the cooler on Coach Saban..I would have never done it in the 1st place..

When the clock hit 0 time left to play and Alabama was National Champions. I have in my life witnessed the 61, 64, 65, 73, 78, 79, 92, and 2009 National Championships. At 53 I have been blessed to pull for a team that wins and wins big. One witnessing Eight Titles in one life time is incredible but I still have a long way to go. Amen.

I'm right there with you Bama Irishman, I've been around for all of those as well. I witnessed the last two in person. Heck, both of my kids have been around for the last two as well, they're ahead of most any barn fan I know, lol.

Have to agree with this one. I was in the fifth row and Dareus was running straight at me when he scored. My favorite play as far as I can remember for that reason.
