What's the story behind your TideFans name?

I chose the Name: 'Ole Man Dan' years ago when I began competing in S.A.S.S.
(Cowboy Action Shooting) I 'played' an over the hill cowboy...
At least the 'Over-The-Hill' part is correct.
(My last name is not surprisingly, Daniel)
I've used this name on various forums over the years.

I am a big War Between the States buff and Confederate General Patrick Cleburne is my favorite general to read and study about. I use his name on all the forums that I am on and this is a picture of him.

Patrick Cleburne is one of my favorites too.

I was born/raised in California, but I graduated from the University of Alabama twice. I do try to keep a bit of my California-ness here in Alabama, but my wife is trying to turn me into a Southern guy. I don't think it'll quite work.

I'm a life long BAMA fan, (53 years now), from Mobile, living in New Orleans. I was just looking for something that sounded like BAMA, but didn't want to be Crimsonman132958 or some other number. I tried different spellings and Krymsonman was all by itself, so here I am.

Hey Fossil, did you ever teach engineering at BAMA. My son just graduated in mechanical engineering.

Krymsonman

I will fess up, but first any guesses? It should be obvious to one poster on this thread a few pages back.
Not you B2v4ua, you know. My name is a trivia question. Someone should get it.

I decided to move out of the state of Alabama at the age of 21. It made sense at the time but now makes no sense whatsoever. I really would liketo change it but..........

Believe it or not I hate wrestling and how fake it is but I love the sound of Stone Cold it seems so permanent so I went with what I have the biggest passion for which is BAMA :)

I just found out there is a Stone Cold Saban on here but he is a wrestling guy but its all good :)
