When we lose and we will lose...

Just an old BAMA fan living down in the swamps - you should have to live with it haha.

Well, I think it's confusing when you call yourself "gator," since most assume you're, at best, a fan of both. Maybe "Faux Gator?" Years ago, we had a real Gator fan living in B'ham, who called himself "BamaGator," or something like that, but he was definitely a Gator fan. He had a hard time keeping his temper in check and finally went by the wayside. Oh well, I don't have any trouble ascertaining your real loyalties...

Where in the swamps? I spent many years working in some of the most remote areas of Florida. Some of the people I met would make the cast of Deliverance sweat. But I also met a lot of really great people, and some of those are lifelong friends.

The best two months I ever spent on the road in Florida was in a little town on the south shores of Lake Okeechobee--Clewiston. I am still a legend at Roland Martin's...

I hope it's on the road and not in BD; I'd love to see us get back to the days when we hardly ever lost at home (well, back then, we didn't lose often anywhere, but almost never at home).
A loss will come, and it will go...just like a win. It's all about the next game, to try and win it.

that's why gator is always spelled gator - not Gator

No Sir, BAMA born and bred, just unfortunately stuck down here in the swamp for a few more years and then I'll move back to Ohatchee.

at some point, do we as fans sit and blame the loss on this person or that person, the coaches or weather or heaven forbid the officiating. Do we ever consider the fact that the other team was trying as hard as we were to win the game and that perhaps they got or made their breaks on the field. This Bama team has gone 20-0 during the regular season so far and the teams they have lost to out side the regular season were not exactly chumps. They have done so with extraordinary grit and determination, they have suffered through hardships that would fall most other teams yet they keep playing until the end. I am proud of this and all Alabama teams because I know the men who don the Crimson & White give their all and that there are days when others just want it more because we are who we are the best we are the Alabama Crimson Tide!

Roll Tide Roll :biga2:

Why don't you wait until Bama loses in the regular season to see who gets blamed?

No one realistically expected us to go 12-0 regular season last year (especially after the Tulane game). The who's were the last question mark, and after we beat them I thought, "Wow." I thought we would have a shot at it this year, but after we lost Hightower doubts begin to creep in. However, except for the last few minutes of the game last Saturday, defense hasn't missed a beat, but offense has been only adequate.
I can see only one reason why we will lose (and yes, it will happen...but not this week): it will be simply, as stated, we didn't play well enough to win. Period.

Losing is not a pleasant thing...makes me sad. That is why I don't think about it...or try not to think about it...or not ponder on it too much...now I'm getting depressed.
