Last year it fell during my boys Spring Break. We had a great time. It would be great if it did again! I may take out of school for a day anyway. Nothings more important than their education you know! ;)

I can't wait, I should be there. Does anyone know how much of the stadium will be completed? I know they are starting to put the upper deck on and putting in the entrance from university blvd. If it is near complete on the outside I cannot wait to see how it will look come next fall when the warriors come to town.

When doe practice begin and are they open to the public? Can't come to the A Day game, but would like to come down for a practice during my Spring Break.

You had a great time at last years A-Day game? Are you kidding me? It was raining and cold and miserable! We left at half time! Two years ago was a banner day, but last year sucked major league! Some of the weekend practices leading up to it were great, but that day was terrible!

I know what you mean about the weather. My daughter and I were there and we froze. It was probally my last spring with her, as she graduates this spring.
We still had a great time, got to see several practices and to meet the best players in the world. RTR

If you live more than 8 or so hours from T-Town, just getting a chance to come back makes for a great time for Bama alumni/fans. Regardless of the weather.

Well, it sprinkled a little. Didn't last long. Considering that we hadn't been to Tuscaloosa in a 'coons age we had a great time. I always expect spring weather to be fickle anyhow. We had coats. I guess that's the ol' Boy Scout training - "be prepared." Yes, we had a GREAT time, in spite of the weather. :)

Amen to that. From Salem, VA to T-Town is about 8 hours. I only made it down three times last year!

Sorry to those of you who drove in for the day. I suppose living 45 minutes from BD makes things a bit different for us since we actually can drive down on any Saturday that practice is open and watch the boys. If I had driven in from 8 hours, I'm sure I too would have found a way to enjoy myself.

With that said, two years ago A-Day was one of the most beautiful days I've ever seen and there must have been 40,000 people there!

I was not offended. I knew where you were coming from.
