Until the spelling checker is operational, just cut-and-paste from your word processor program.

I second this recommendation -- I don't use Internet Explorer any more, but when I did, this program was a GODSEND. It's absolutely perfect for posting on forums and such -- you right-click on the text box and select "spell check" and it pops up in a little window with recommended alternatives and everything. Now all they need is a "check as you type" plug-in.

For people using Mozilla/Firefox there's a similar plugin, but it's a little more complicated.
