I tried to ask this last night, but apparently I was teasing.

I'm headed to Knoxvegas this weekend and would like to know where to find Bama fans before the game on Saturday.

Also, any suggestions on parking, dining, etc, would be appreciated.:BigA:

I understand that the home side of Neyland stadium has plenty of room lately. :);):)

I also hear that Junior and Lulu may be there for entertainment.

I don't know of any place in particular that Bama fans hang out in Knoxville. It's still not a popular place for Bama fans although Florida and Georgia have provided most of the grief the past few years. Barley's is a pizza-beer hangout in the Old City near downtown that's popular with the young crowd. Bailey's is a sports bar in west Knoxville that's pretty lively. Have fun and be careful.....Roll Tide! :BigA:

We gather around the UT sign and urinate together in harmony!

Now thats funny, I don't care who you are. I really can't say, we rode in from Gatlinburg on the big Yellow school buses. It seemed like everyone would gather around there where they drop us off for a while until about an hour before kickoff. You'll be OK anywhere you go unless you decide to hang around the students. It's not like Auburn. Going in is pretty nice, but you better put your jogging shoes on when you leave.

If you're going to be in Knoxville Friday, you might be interested in this:
Alabama pep ralley will take place on the Star of Knoxville Riverboat Friday Oct. 24th at 6:30 and 9:00. Please come join the Bama Cheerleaders, Bama Pep Band, and a host of Bama Alumni. It's located next to Calhoun's on the River.

Unfortunately, they are both full now....

Whenever it's possible for us to make it to the game up there, this Bama fan gathers at her Mama n Daddy's house 20 minutes from Neyland stadium. Go watch the game, and come back to the house. All that arnge gives me a headache, so I would rather not hang around it all night long.

Seriously though, there are TONS of yummy places to eat downtown, in the Old City, and on the river. Calhoun's on the River is definitely one of them. The strip is okay, it needs a bit of revamping in my opinion. I like downtown and the Old City better.
