South Alabama
Most of the IBs went like this

-Auburn loafs around the first 3 quarters
- Bama gets in a position to feel good
- Tubby outcoaches Shula in the 4th

05 and 02 were the two exceptions in which Alabama never got off the bus it felt. 2007 was very winnable but once you saw DJ hall not fight for a TD you knew the cancers in the locker room were never going to allow us to win it.

Honestly I remember 2 things… maybe I need @selmaborntidefan

1) we had a run back coming out of the half or 4th quarter

2) there was a Bama male cheerleader interviewed during the game who transferred from Auburn who became the center of controversy by saying something to the effect of “ I’m at Alabama but my heart is still at Auburn”. It was the talk after that game.
The 2003 game?

I was living in California and it was so obvious we weren't going to win that I had it on my TV, but I was doing other things.

This is the thing - and maybe some of our West Coast dwellers can elaborate or maybe it's just me.

The year I lived out there (one football season), you get up at 9 am and the games are kicking off. If you cook your own breakfast on the stove or go get it - back then anyway - you missed those plays. That Tennessee 5 OT defeat killed us, so I would have our games on, but I wasn't really paying a lot of attention to them. Remember - the time changed earlier back then and our last 3 games all kicked off around 645pm Central...which makes it weird when it's 445pm and the sun is out but it's pitch black at the stadium.

It's just weird is all I'm saying.

So I recall having it on TV and listening to it. Ah, I was playing my Sega Saturn Madden NFL video game and LISTENING to the game, and we weren't doing very well, ha ha.
