Obviously I pick the Gamecocks (no bias here:wink:).

Truthfully the game is a toss-up. auburn coming off a tough, physical matchup that left them banged up pretty good. USC had a scrimmage where they just went through the motions. USC run D is stingy, but pass D is suspect. LBs not looking good in pass coverage and Culliver's move from safety to CB has been mixed. Kid is an All-SEC safety, but just an average SEC corner (move was due to shoulder injury). auburn will need to pass to win, clemson showed in 1st half that auburn running game can be stopped.

As most have said, Garcia probably the wild card. Kid continues to frustrate Gamecock fans, looking very good at times and very bad at times. As a JR, it's time for some consistency. If he has just a solid game, USC wins as USC will then be able to run because auburn does not have a player capable of covering Jefferies, so he will be double teamed. If Garcia off, all bets off as auburn can then cheat up and stuff the run.

I hope this poll is correct. Auburn is the only team SC hasn't beat since it joined the ACC. It'd be nice to get that monkey off our back and set up for a great game in 2 weeks.

With the way aubarn is playing they could beat anyone on a given day and lose to everyone on a paid one. If that makes no sense then I got my point across. Cuz when I watch aubarn play i scratch my head alot and go huh.....many times. The rodeo ends for aubarn this weekend cuz USCe aint gonna be dropping passes in the endzone and the real #1 RB outa HS last year will show how far apart he and Dyer really are in talent.

I think S.C. over aub. also, and I'm thinking we better look out when Bama goes to Colunbia, S.C. I might find a big tree in downtown Pell City and throw a few rolls of toilet paper saturday, nah, that's something stupid that only barners do. I'll just holler YEE HAW real loud.

I learned long ago not to depend on USCe, especially on the road. This looks like the kind of game where offense goes to die.

this past week was the first time i saw dyer at all and i am wondering what the hype is? all they do is run around in the backfield for a while, then maybe make a dash to the corner. it may just be that "running game" at the barn is the same as "chinese fire drill" to the rest of us

I don't think it's that much of a dare. An ACC team took them to OT with a weak defense. SC has a much improved defense and a much improved offensive line. I think the Old Fart wins this one.
