You could see it in his high school highlight rule.

He was bigger, stronger and quicker than any lineman on the field, and he also played harder. Special qualities to have at a young age.

No. He missed several days of practice due to his grandmother's death.

If you look at my comments in the game thread yesterday, I had some pretty flattering remarks for the guy. When I watched his high school game film, I was impressed with how unblockable he was. So yesterday, among many other good things I had to say about him, I said that I think he's going to be our best defensive pass rusher since Kendall Moorehead. Seriously. And he may even be better (statistically). I think the sky is the limit for this kid.

3.5 sacks in the first two games. The kid is almost unblockable and he's only going to get better.

Count me excited. IMO Darius is one of the reasons we've made huge strides in the pass rush from last year to this year. I enjoy watching him play.

No one that has seen either of the Tide's games so far.

Smart, constant motor, enthusiasm, athleticism, and very powerful. He's a hoss!

(raises hand)...he wreaked havoc every time he was in the game. Dareus looks to be a really special player.
I thought Cody played a really good game too, and he was soo pumped when went in on offense to block for MI. Two good ones.

Marcell Dareus played great! Very impressive! I think a lot of love should be shown to Eryk Anders as well. He had a great game. The roster lists him at about 235 lbs. Another 25 or 30 lbs and he would be an absolute monster. But I like him just as he is.
