I suggest this coach get a piece of modern technology called Caller ID. If I don't recognize a number, I don't answer the call. No one can control whether or not some idiot makes a call to a coach, but the coach can certainly choose whether or not to answer the call, or hang up quickly. What a waste of time dealing with a non-issue like this. We need to focus on FSU.

I have read on another message board that it was a BOT that called Major Applewhite . Well, now we know why all of our good coaches leave and its the BOT that is running them off.

Droppings of wisdom. Well, maybe just droppings... (I'm allowed a little sarcasm - I earned it.) Well, I'm glad they ran Price, Fran, Dubose and Shula off so we'd have a chance at a decent coach. Using your logic, of course...

We need to chill out. I wish we could find out who the individual was. I am so sick of listening to talk radio here in the Chattanooga area. Several GA. fans have called in and ran that mouth along with the TN hosts that Bama fans were rabid and thought we were instantly headed for Atlanta and bragging about the size of Bryant-Denny. A couple of UGA fans that claimed they visited T-town for the first time claimed that they were not impreesed with our facilities or our campus atmosphere at all. That just fired up the UT base big time. My brother=in law went with me this weekend and said it was an awesome experience. He is a big UGA fan. Been to Knoxville and Athens of course. He said Knoxville was a joke, which I already knew after years of attending Bama-UT games up there. He also said the tailgating and Bryant-Denny was second to none. We really need to hit UT with a big loss this year. We need to really make a statement while they are doing so poorly on defense this year. Roll Tide and be glad you dont have to hear the crap we do every year living in TN. These guys really think they are an elite program no matter what is happening with the other schools in the conference. Pray for us to stay strong and defend our great school and teams to the end!!! I think it's just great that the threads are unravelling so fast (absolute sarcasm), things seem to start more on more on the internet these days and they just snowball from here on out no doubt we'll soon see in articles and hear on major outlets about how the BOT is once again trying to enforce it's will on yet another coach because of the crap on the internet now.

it's not a matter of if but when, and that just plain ole sucks.

It's sad, but I'm going to have to lock this one too. The BOT thing is coming from another board, and knowing the source, I think it's another case of "Hey, it sounded good, didn't it?" We can't let it go on here...

Fans calling coachs house after Georgia game...

May have been posted but didn't see anywhere. At pres conference CNS says our fans that were throwing things at the Georgia players and fans calling the coaches house needs to show more class. First of all, nobody needs to throw stuff at the players. I was at the game and i seen the Alabama student section throwing cups and bottles at the Georgia players. Second of all, if you want CNS to stay around and built our program to a National Power you need to leave him and his coaching staff alone or he want be here long.
