Question: Who is our most difficult remaining opponent?

Haven't you guys heard? Camputer is the opponent we need to fear. Sitting in the stands next to barners at a high school game the other night, I got an education. Cam will win the Heisman and Auburn will compete for a BCS title.

We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control........

I don't think it is possible to feel completely comfortable playing LSU in Death Valley. Those people are scary.

LSU and Florida are not fooling me. They both have talent and they both want to beat Bama in the worst way. LSU for the obvious reason and Florida because of the obvious reason. The reasons are both different, but both are obvious.

Arkansas, and South Carolina will take care of themselves, I think, since both are highly regarded, instead of disappointments.

ROFL at all the topics in this discussion!! I have to agree with COMPLACENCY and ALL OF THEM!! Every team brings EVERYTHING they got for us!! Any team can look as bad as FL did the past 2 weeks, but when they play us they will be ready. Of course I'm hoping they're not, but I'm worried that with the 2 easy wins we've had that the team is going to get bored......:rolleye2:

I don't see the Tide being "out-talented" by anyone on the schedule. The key is remaining focused and and playing with a minimum of errors. Good passing teams will score on this year's defense but good ball/clock control power offense can reduce the load on the defense.

The injury factor always come into play but is something which can't be controlled.

Play clean and keep focused......enjoyable trip to the NC game.:) Just hope it ain't Texas again...too painful to see Mack Brown cry.

BOOMER SOONER....ROLL TIDE ROLL

Thanks CSA...and congrats, your Sooners out-right throttled FSU. I think the Sooners are going to be right back in the title talk this year along with Bama, OSU, and UT. I do think FSU was over-hyped but I thought the Sooners looked strong yesterday, no denying that. :)

Duke...cause they are next. You have to handle what's in front of you first!

@Crimson Cat. I agree that FSU was probably much over-rated and still have a ways to go in becomming top 10 again. Had OU wanted, they could have won the game 80 - 7.....but to what end? I will hafta wait until after OU's next three games to be convinced that this year's Sooners are valid contenders.

Bob Stoops said in his interview that it was the "most bitter" win he had ever had. He hates playing against his brothers and their mother was at the game.

If OU were to play Alabama next week, however, I think the Tide would win by at least 2 touchdowns. OU simply does not have the defensive personnel to stop the monsterous Tide rushing game. Actually, I doubt that anyone could stop it for an entire game barring errors or injury! Maybe Coach Saban could come to Norman and teach the OU offensive linemen the basics of run blocking. Part of the problem with the B12 is that we have forgotten how to play "big boy" football.

I would LOVE to see OU vs Tide in the NC game. At least we wouldn't hafta listen to the losing coach whine and whimper for a year afterwards!

If OU and Bama played this week it'd be pretty close IMO. I'd almost give the edge to OU. Bama's secondary just isn't there yet. We give up way too many big plays, and miss a lot of tackles. IMO Oklahoma would put up about 30 points on us if we played this week.

Something's always puzzled me about Oklahoma though. Isn't Stoops supposed to be a defense-oriented coach? Because his teams are always known for their great offenses.

The trip to the Ozarks still worries me the most.Their passing attack will give our secondary a real challenge. We need to put Mallett down a couple of times early in the game to take the pressure off the young fellas in the defensive backfield.

This!! I was happy about the interceptions our secondary got this weekend, but as they said in Star Wars: "Don't get cocky, kid!" Arkansas will provide our secondary with their first real challenge and I will be on the edge of my seat!!:eek2:

Every Saturday about five heavily favored football teams learn that their most difficult opponent isn't one that's upcoming, it's the one that just upset them and ruined their season. You have no choice but to play them one at a time.
Any other attitude will get you whipped in a heartbeat.
