Why is the radio broadcast on delay?

Trying to listen to Snake & Eli but the play-by-play is about 3 or 4 seconds behind the actual play. It is driving me crazy! :BigA:

Call your local station & ask them to turn the delay off . Someone forgot .

Hope they answer . I've been guilty of leaving one on myself . The radio should really be 1-2 seconds ahead of TV .

When you get it via Yahoo in Kentucky, it's always about 30 seconds behind what's going on on TV. Which means you are watching one play and hearing the call of another. After several years, I've gotten pretty good at it, though! It just takes a little mental adjustment.
