I was able to meet and talk with him a few minutes at the airport when he was passing through Birmingham and I must agree with you. He was a very nice person. I hate to hear of his passing.

I think I only had one or two autographs of Bama players when I was a kid, but his was one of them. I distinctly remember this very large person signing it when I was about 5 years old. I stabled it to a Bama pendant that hung in my room for years.
