World Series!!

Surprised there is no World Series thread so here it goes. I've really enjoyed this world series. There's no quit in either team. Josh Hamilton came up with a huge HR for the Rangers right after Freese comes up with a clutch triple for the Cards to tie it. Very exciting for once.

I stayed up to watch that game (rooting for the Rangers). They were one strike away TWICE, and the relievers couldn't get the job done. The Rangers are my second favorite team, but I couldn't imagine what their fans are feeling. Maybe they can overcome this game. We shall see.

I used to care about baseball just as much as I do football. Those days are gone. I got home last night and turned my TV to Sportscenter to check the score and saw the game was in extra's. I stayed up an extra hour watching the rest of it. Unreal how it ended.

I caught the tail end when I was out because it was on TV. I will admit it was pretty entertaining, but baseball, including the World Series, loses all its luster when football starts.

As great as the drama was in that game, it was still the one of the most ugliest games I've ever seen and I watch Game 5 of the 2011 World Series. But as a Cub fan, I have to believe the sports gods hate me because for goodness sake St. Looey has gotten just about every fricken' break since September 1st. I can't take it. If only the Phillies would have just rolled over and allowed the Braves to win game 162, the Cardinals would have been at home watching the dang series.

Nonetheless it has been a pretty awesome series in terms of drama. Here's to the Rangers winning tonight.

I agree but even when the braves are going good they still take a backseat to the Tide.

No matter how this turns out, we at least wrapped up the Epstein deal. Feels nice having a competent front office.

Wow what a series. Kinda wanted Texas to win since the Cards already have a number of WS championships.

What a crappy sports season it has been for me........First it was Moo College in College Football, then it was Green Bay as Super Bowl Champions, and now St. Looey as WS champs. All I have to say is, come on Bama and Chicago Blackhawks, please salvage the sport season for me.
