Question: Would you attend an Alabama vs major SEC team if it were played this Saturday?

I think this is at least the third thread of late that has asked this question in one form or another; my answer is still yes. I've not had the virus, do not currently have the virus nor any of its symptoms and, therefore, do not feel I'm a threat to spread the virus to anyone else. So, for me, it is about acceptance of risk to exposure from others. To counter that, I've no issue with wearing a mask, using hand sanitizer, would refrain from buying any concessions that were not in a prepackage container, and main meal would be either pre or post game depending on kickoff time. Plus, with most of you guys not going, the stadium would likely be half full at best.

Going to a game now reminds me of when I was a teenager, my friends and I loaded up to go to Six Flags one day and we encountered rain when we arrived. It rained just enough to keep people away from the park, but not enough to close any rides. That was the best trip to Six Flags ever. We walked up to every ride with no wait at all. A football game right now would be the same, nobody would be there so you might be able to sit wherever you wanted as long as you weren't close to anybody else.

Now would I go? Probably not, because the heat is just oppressive unless I would be able to sit in one of the areas that a steady breeze came in one of the entrance/exit areas.

Parks are relatively empty in Orlando right now. Same for the casinos in Vegas. Covid parties are not for everyone.

The fact not a single one of them would recognize signs of a stroke or heart attack, though, would concern me at my age. Maybe you'll get lucky and one of them will be a nursing major who actually listens in class.

I'm the most introverted person I know, though, too.

I enjoyed the TF tailgate two years ago - and rest assured I'll enjoy it when life kinda gets back to normal - but priorities shift and while I was too dumb to not speed down gravel roads in my teens, I'm a bit wiser now.

If the stadium had a solid plan in place to check temperatures at the gate, require masks, and had a way to keep people from being crammed together entering/leaving, “YES” I would attend.

I respect those who say they would not attend and hope no matter the decision made by the SEC regarding the season and AD’s/Univ Presidents regarding fans, I hope we all remember we love BAMA football and we respect one another’s views on this pandemic.

No. I am seeing with my own eyes how quickly this stuff can spread, and apparently, you come in contact with it, you get it. I am not worried about myself, but my 81 year old mom and my 8 month old grand-daughter. Them I worry about.
