Wow, James Carville just made a fool of himself on Finebaum!

Carville sounded crazy. I am sure most LSU fans will agree with him.

I rarely watch Finebaum but have some today, mainly to see how much he discussed the targeting rule.

I did like Marcus Spears's and GM's response. LSU fans should listen to Marcus on this topic. Marcus thought it was targeting by what the rule says, but thinks parts of the rule should be changed.

I am just glad it wasn't one of the BAMA players this happened to.

So, let me get this straight. The consensus is that Carville is a fool and was a fool on Finebaum? Couldn’t tell by the thread.[emoji6][emoji23].

I can't stand him. This is my opinion on the hit. By rule it looks like targeting BUT Nick's head snap isn't cause of whites hit. Nick snapped his head back at the last second when he seen it coming. Was there head to head contact? Yes but the whole thing reminded me of a nba flop. I think it's a horrible call.

I really do wish the conference would reverse the call (probably too late now though) so people would shut up about it. I don’t want LSU to have any excuses.

Run a hundred dollars through a trailer park in Baton Rouge and you get...well.....James Carville and his twin brother from another mother, Tim Brando.

Everybody thinks it is a bad rule even if well intended. Carville has intentions. He wants support in BR to intimidate Bama fans, SEC Refs, our players, and gain attention to himself.

I turned on Finebaum after seeing this thread, and heard the idiot Darriel from Georgia make the comment that LSU should take out TUA’s knee. Talk about the lowest of low class . Advocating the intentional injury of a college fb player.

Problem is if they give in to this one, down the road all a schools got to do is have students call and moan for a few days and before long there will not be a targetting rule, it wouldn't be enforceable...

They've already set precedence with Maurice White

And that whole "take out Tua's knee" is bush league.................no call for that

I consider Finebaum's program to be a dumpster fire! This episode and the comments about Butch Jones in Knoxville today give me cause to remove him totally from my watch list! The SEC Gameday team would be better served without him!

So let me get this straight, a penalty occurred during a game that Alabama wasn’t even involved with, and the referee in that game was cheating for Alabama. Get the heck out of here!

Carville is pretty entertaining when he’s just talking or even giving a speech—at his best when self-deprecating. At his worst when trying to discredit someone. His attacks on Ken Starr in the 90s were legendary, like verbal frag grenades. I haven’t heard today’s outburst, but I take it he hasn’t mellowed any?
