Haven't heard much about him lately. Anybody know where we stand or how hard we are recruiting him?
I don't have a good feeling about DGB. With Black and Gladney already committed and the rumors about Cooper committing I'm not sure how many more WR's we take but with a talent like DGB we will continue recruiting him hard.
got that feeling when i saw that Cooper may be soon to commit, that being said the staff has a addiction to recruiting WR's and won't give up on DGB just because we already have 3. Especially since DGB offers a much different set of skills than Black or Cooper, however if we land cooper I'd say this calss is more than solid at the position.
If UA's staff hears that DGB wants to commit to them but is worried about too many WR recruits in this class I believe they would get rid of a commitment to get him, he's that important to an offense. That won't happen though b/c I think DGB knows that he could start at just about any college next year. I do hope that UA's staff doesn't get comfortable with the WRs we've landed even if we get Cooper b/c DGB is the crown jewel of this recruiting season for a reason. Plus, you know our UA staff doesn't get comfortable in recruiting anyhow
What I don't understand is why is it a bad thing if you decided to pick a recruit over a commitment. A coaches job is to put together the best team he can possibly get. I know that it looks a little shady but how many players decommit to a school. Why can't a school decommit to a player? Not to get off topic to DGB but I would get rid of a current commitment to pick up a JJ type player to better the team overall.
I suspect CNS is straight with his recruits. We're interested, but let's hold off on a commitment until we see what a couple of other kids decide.
Bama's top recruiting targets have an open spot until they say they are going elsewhere so why would Bama have to decommit a commit to accept a recruit with a scholly offer waiting for them?
Saw where he said he has a top 5 but isn't sure he wants to announce them yet.
