You can't spell dysfunction without FSU - players revolt (update: Jimbo resigns)

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! Wow.
If that photo is legit (not doctored and actually is a photo of Jimbo's house), I'd take that as an indicator.
No way that can be Fishers house. Do you think he'd have a neighbor's house that close and the other neighboring houses would be that ordinary. No way this is Fisher's hood.

Fake news!

If I'm a TAMU fan, I'm getting a little leery of this. He kept his assistants a year too long, and now this from players?

Maybe he just needs a fresh start, but I wouldn't be too happy with all the baggage coming with him.
Back in 2014 texags was full of threads bashing the way Fisher handled the multiple Jameis incidents. Fast forward to today and they are talking about locking him down for 10 years. Yeembo is the final piece needed to "wake the sleeping giant" :rolleye2:

At this rate they will lose to ULM.

Looking back, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to let a rapist lead your team?

The FSU - ULM game could be the best game to watch tomorrow in Tallahassee!
The only issue is that Alabama still might need all the help they can get. A bowl eligible FSU is a lot better than one that found a way to lose to a lousy ULM. Otherwise this whole thing is amusing and goes a long way towards explaining the meltdown.

Lost in this is the story of the players' revolt. Any updates on what they were upset about? With coach out someone is gonna spill some beans.

I'd guess it's the combination of Jimbo flirting with other potential openings over the last few years and his apparent serious interest in the A&M job - and if so, I understand their point.

Looks like a very mediocre neighborhood for a man making the bank he makes. I agree. Fake News. But it is HILARIOUS!

If memory serves, aggsy is one of THE very Most penalized college programs in NZAA history. I think they were tied with aubarn for #3 or 4 "all time" back when aTm was brought into the SEC.

Its very much a "Win-at-ALL-Costs" mentality, so Jimbo Fulmer will probably fit right in.

One big thing, if Jimbo leaves with all the openings who can they get at FSU? This is not the year to be coach shopping.
The best thing that could happen would be FSU inks Gruden.

That is just wrong. What is wrong with honoring your commitment and coaching up to the last game? I mean, what has Jimbo gained by jumping ship the day before his last regular season game? This makes him look (more) terrible.

I'm right there with you on understanding the players' viewpoint, but the fact the players were comfortable in taking that stand speaks volumes about the program's real health. And as someone else said, I'd be concerned about that if I were TAMU.
