All eyes of the nation upon us. Last man standing gets the glory. This is what it's all about!

I know Michigan could guarantee a 1-0 start coming out against Eastern Michigan or somebody. Just like you could guarantee a W against LA-Lafayette. But this is pretty damn cool. It is on, and everybody knows it. This is the game everyone is talking about. I would love to see more of this at the beginning of every season.

I love Michigan (too much, according to my wife), but I love seeing good football just as much. Can't wait to see Mosley in action, and hoping to see a little of Trey DePriest (who we were in on for a while). I think this might be a breakout year for underrated McCarron, who seems like he has been held down a bit so far by youth and "you don't need to with this defense, kid." I'm hoping for a big game from Denard, who is just out fun to watch (and a great young man as well). You should look out for Kenny Demens (MLB # 25) and Blake Countess (true soph CB # 18) -- good players with a nice potential NFL future. We'll all be able to say "before the were NFL stars, I remember watching them in college."

It's on like Donkey Kong -- Can't wait for tomorrow! Good luck (except on the scoreboard), no injuries, Roll Tide and GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like your attitude!

I've always respected the Michigan program and its great tradition and I'm expecting to see a great effort by both teams.

Thanks for visiting the best Bama board on the internet.

West Side Blue, It's great to hear from fans who love their team and don't sink into the hatefilled pool that a lot of overzealous fans swim in (we have our problems too). It's not surprising that it comes from a great school like University of Michigan. From the beginning of your Wolverine football history with one of the greatest coaches ever in Fielding H. Yost through another great coach in Bo Schembechler to today's Brady Hoke, Michigan has stood at the top of the list of great football powerhouses. Most all-time wins, highest all-time winning percentage, the most winning seasons, the most undefeated seasons of teams currently competing in Division I-A/FBS, one of only three schools with a winning record against every Division I-A/FBS conference, the largest crowd to ever attend an NCAA football game: 114,804 on September 10, 2011 at Michigan Stadium vs. Notre Dame, the longest streak in home game attendance of over 100,000, the most televised school in college football history: 432 televised games and 11 national championships.
Wow, what an honor for to be able to see two great and storied programs meet in a classic opening game to kick off the 2012 football season. We both have waited seven long months to get to today, may the best team win and yes, I'll be cheering for my beloved Crimson Tide as you stated you will cheer for your Wolverines with their traditional helmets and your great fight song. Tradition plays a big part of both of our schools as it should with our great history behind them.
Good luck today, thanks for being a great and classy fan, you have renewed my respect for the Michigan fans and I will be pulling for those Wolverines to win the Big Ten.
Let's start this year off with one for the record books, Roll Tide Roll, let's put aside the past year's record and began the journey again, one game at a time, one play at a time, "The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards."

Blue,

Nothing like leaving a good first impression. Why don't we all get back together after the game. Winner buys.

I'm definitely with you about good football, I appreciate good football no matter where it comes from. I can't wait to see Robinson against our D, he is an exciting player. Cambell also looks like a beast, and I'm interested in seeing Kovacs as well. I have read a lot on y'alls team and am pysched for this game. Go Blue and Roll Tide.
