Ohhh...I remember it like it was yesterday. Everyone griping about Watts and Zow and Alexander, and I posted comments on someone's thread titled "Your First Bama Memory". Oh I recall it was so much better the first time I did it, since this topic/thread has come up EVERY SPRING SINCE THE TIDEFANS BOARD CAME ONLINE !!!! History repeats itself , sure , but do we HAVE to rehash topics like this every year ? wouldn't it be easier if we could put down on our signatures our first game , favorite player, etc.? MAN THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY !!!!! AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH !!!!
(silence)
Oh....sorry about the rant, but I just didn't have anything CONSTRUCTIVE to post on here about.
ROLL TIDE !!!!

War in the Transvaal 1900: “when the soldiers going to the front were passing another body of soldiers whom they recognized, their greetings used to be, ‘Four-nine-four, boys; four-nine-four;’ and the salute would invariably be answered with ‘Six further on, boys; six further on.’ The significance of this was that, in ‘Sacred Songs and Solos,’a book of hymns, number 494 was ‘God be with you until we meet again;’ and six further on than 494, or number 500, was ‘Blessed Assurance, Jesus is mine.’â€Â
