They've kept the event spaces in constant use and updated over the last 22 years and probably won't need to build anything new (although there may be a new arena for the NBA & NHL teams in downtown paid for by billionaire Ryan Smith who bought both in last few years). My daughter ran a couple of indoor track meets in the Olympic Skating Oval last winter. It is HUGE. there was an 8-lane running track around a speed skating track around 2 full-size skating rinks (end to end with plenty of space between the two). All inside the single Oval facility.
Park City is world class skiing and training for Olympians now and will only improve even more over next 10 years. U of Utah will also be the Olympic Village, I think. It has amazing views of the SL Valley. AND the people here want it and will do everything they can to make it successful.
I don't expect we'll still be here in 10 years, but one never knows! May keep the house just for this
