If We Had To Lose A Game

I know none of us want to lose any game. But just a hypothetical here:
If Bama has to lose 1 game, would you rather lose to Auburn in the IB or Florida in the SECG?

Theoretically, it'd be better for our season to lose to Auburn --> If we then went on to beat UF, we'd still have a strong claim on the National Champ game. But it's hard to "choose" a loss to the Barn.

What about you?

For me that'd be like "do you want your right hand cut off or your left hand". Neither. If we lose to the Barn but somehow end up winning the NC, barners will hold a parade and say they beat the national champions.

j/k :biggrin2:

The BCS game would then probably feature an undefeated Texas vs undefeated TCU. TCU, Cincy and Boise St are hoping for a one loss SEC Champion which helps their cause.

Not trying to be troublesome at all. I hope that in a few hours it will be moot as we all dance amid Auburn's tears. I was just pondering...

I live in enemy territory in Knoxville. So maybe it comes from being so surrounded by fans who find ways to rationalize defeats!

Yeah I'm leaning in that direction.

Earlier in the week this would be an okay thread. On GAME DAY however, it deserves deleting, or banning, or something. Bad karma, dudette.
